The Juggler Of Our Ladies
April 29 and 30 at 7pm
The Juggler of Our Ladies, Ellis Wood’s newest work, brings four generations of female performers to the stage. The dance depicts different phases of a woman’s life: innocence, struggle, perseverance, discovery and self-realization.
The piece combines highly technical and intensely physical movement with raw and revealing female expression. Performers range in age from ten to eighty and include two former Martha Graham Company Members,
three New York professionals and one up and coming ten year old.
