Triskelion Arts is very proud to present Evergreen, a new full-length live dance work from Marisa Gruneberg and white road Dance Media, and Night Thing, a new feature length dance film! Evergreen marks wrDM’s tenth year creating and performing in NYC, and Night Thing is a dance film one year in the making.

Evergreen is a world pulled taut by symmetrical forms and fueled by overwhelming movements, quick-fire decisions and interpersonal momentums. Additionally inspired by simulated environments, cycles of renewal and the concept of extreme dramatics in very small spaces, the performers challenge one another to fully inhabit a purlieu that is both calculated and undone, fragile yet enduring. Performed by Erik Abbott-Main, Sammy Donahue, Miranda Lyon, Emily Maurer, Hanna Olvera, Liz Riga, Jenny Stulberg and Sarah Zitnay. Original score by Justin Sherburn.

Night Thing is white road Dance Media’s first feature length dance film. Made with generous permissions from the New York City Parks and Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Office of Television and Film, and shot on location all over NYC, Night Thing follows a cast of seven, their collective, intertwined experiential memories, and the city that threatens to unravel them all. In this darkening, tilting world, whatever mysterious force moves in the night is also moving within. Original score by Justin Sherburn, cinematography by Davide Parenti.
