FUSA Dance Festival 2026 - Call for Projects

FUSA Dance Festival / Althea Dance Company
FUSA is open to professional Franco-American dance companies and/or companies with a strong connection between the two countries, language and culture. The festival offers a financial contribution of 500 USD per company. Choreographers may be invited to teach a class as part of the In Motion VII workshop for additional compensation.
All selected participaints will receive a small stipend for their contribution.
All participants will also be able to take the In Motion workshops free of charge.
All choreographic forms are accepted (solo, duo, trio, etc.)
Length: 8-30 minutes
Deadline: August 7, 2026 at 11:59pm EST
STAGE DIMENSIONS: PLEASE NOTE THE STAGE IS 50W x 18D
Documents required to apply via the application form:
- Your CV
- Link to YouTube or Vimeo video only
- Description of the work
- An extract of the piece if it is a work-in-progress or the full-length video
- A google drive folder link with: Video to the Piece, Music, Choreographer’s Headshot, Production Photos
