Funds raised will support Gibney Dance, a vanguard in the fight for social justice through self-expression and dance.
Gibney’s mission to bring the power of dance where it otherwise wouldn’t exist by providing life-changing artistic experiences to under-served individuals in shelters, schools and non-traditional performance spaces. Our mission is served by three interrelated fields of action: Company, our acclaimed resident dance company; Community Action, which locally and internationally provides domestic violence shelters with over 500 free movement workshops each year; and Center, our powerhouse of cultural support for artists, audiences, and our community at-large.
