"HALF-LIFE" marks the beginning of the 20th anniversary season for Henning Rübsam's SENSEDANCE, a contemporary New York City-based ensemble that features daring point-work with an appetite for space.

Music by composers Ricardo Llorca, Beata Moon and LAIBACH.
Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, 248 West 60th Street (between Amsterdam and West End Aves.)
Saturday, Sunday, Monday. November 5, 6, 7 all at 8pm.

Rübsam has been called the "Anselm Kiefer of dance" (readingdance.com, June 2011) for poignantly tackling the big questions. He assembles a stellar cast of dancers, including long-time principals Ramon Thielen and Maria Phegan (both formerly with Dance Theatre of Harlem) as well as Uthman Ebrahim, Erin Ginn, Temple Kemezis, Paul Monaghan, Jacqueline Stewart and Max van der Sterre (formerly with New York City Ballet).

An interview with Henning (in two parts) on "Classic Talk" (October 2011):
