A NYC Based Contemporary - Modern Dance Company founded in 2013, Hanna Q Dance Company creates and performs original works rooted in powerful storytelling and dynamic physicality. Swedish-born Artistic Director and Choreographer Johanna LjungQvist-Brinson draws inspiration from the forces of nature, weaving elemental themes into technically
rigorous choreography. Her movement vocabulary reflects her background in Dunham
technique and intricate partnering that is at once acrobatic and deeply human.
The company has performed primarily in New York City venues including Dixon Place, Jazz
at Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Dance Festival, TADA! Theater, The Actors Fund Arts Center,
Green Space, New York Live Arts, Triskelion Arts, 14th Street Y Theater, Abrons Arts Center,
