"Hope Is..." a benefit performance at Gibney Dance

Company:
In The Lights
We are finishing the sentence Hope is… with stories told through dance. Choreographers Impacted by cancer have come together for a dance benefit performance. All proceeds from admission will help set up a clinical trial at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to provide genetic testing of BRCA 1 and 2 for a family who needs it.
“The second I started sharing my project with others, I became present to a whole new realm of possibilities and felt moved by dancers sharing how cancer has affected them,” said Geena Russo, producer of Hope Is. “We all have a story; we want to show you ours. I am most looking forward to this project because of the impact it can have.”
