It’s very serious

Company:
ABBONDANZA
It’s very serious is a tender, chaotic meditation on identity, memory, and the rituals we create to make sense of ourselves. Blending dance, text, and theater, the piece moves fluidly through dreamy tableaus, absurd conversations, childhood recollections, and increasingly unhinged audition tapes. A yawn becomes an argument, a squid becomes a metaphor, and introductions unravel into existential crises. At once sincere and ridiculous, It’s very serious asks what it means to be witnessed—and whether we believe the stories we keep telling about who we are.
