D.I.S.P.L.A.Y.E.D

Disrupting Space | Dismantling Normal | Redefining Beauty

November 18-20 | Jersey City, NJ

D.I.S.P.L.A.Y.E.D celebrates the unexpected. An art exhibit where the art is live and the audience can walk through the sculpture court and then experience dynamic dancing as the performers break out of their stillness, it is a magnificent opportunity to experience inclusion.

With a large cast augmented by community performers, the JCTC will be transformed and will create a welcoming, safe space for both viewers and viewed.

At the intersection of performance, art and fashion, Heidi Latsky Dance disrupts space, dismantles normal, and redefines beauty and virtuosity through innovative performance and discourse. Dedicated to reflecting the true diverse nature of the world we live in, HLD brings rigorous, passionate, and thought- provoking work to broad audiences.

D.I.S.P.L.A.Y.E.D underscores our belief that everyone has a story to tell. It holds the audience accountable and complicit as they experience the vulnerability of the art they are witnessing and irresistibly confronts innate prejudices and transforms discomfort into open curiosity and exhilaration. It presents a world that defies stereotypes and structural bias and exemplifies, through its beauty and virtuosity, an ideal model of how we might and

“It is everything I want from a work of art: it is thoughtful and makes you think. It provokes reflection. It is full of spirit. It is full of beauty. It is inclusive. And it takes you deep inside yourself even as it expands the world around you.”
— David Henry, Former Curator at ICA Boston
