“Jesus Muñoz Flamenco: Live! ” - Friday & Saturday, February 26th and 27th, 8pm
National Hispanic Cultural Center, Journal Theatre
Live! features 12 Internationally-renowned dancers and musicians from Spain to Latin America: The likes of which have composed for The Royal Seville Orchestra to popular artists such as Marc Anthony and Andrea Bocelli. Muñoz’s 12- month hiatus from themes is to dive into ideas and the explosive dynamic of Flamenco collaboration. Highlights will feature a combination of exciting pieces from the past six seasons as well as never-before-seen works.
Jesus Muñoz has been featured in 30 states across the country, Mexico and Canada. In 2013 Muñoz was featured as one of NYC’s influential artists in “100 years of Flamenco in New York City.”
“As long as artists such as Muñoz feel the undeniable calling to express this ancient message of human perseverance and bring it to a new generation, Flamenco will survive.”
~ Jain Lemos, ABQ Todo Review of ERA. March 7, 2015.
“Just when you thought you had seen it all, Jesus Munoz Flamenco seized the opportunity to take you on an unexpected journey! The Palladium Project took Flamenco to a place it had never gone and it worked; Flawlessly….”
