9th Annual Midwest Regional Alternative Dance Festival (RAD Fest)

The Midwest RAD Fest is contemporary dance festival, which focuses on supporting its artists by providing free media promotion, networking opportunities, and provides complementary concert tickets to Chairs of University dance departments seeking potential residencies and Artistic Directors seeking commissioned works. Additionally, RAD Fest encourages the spirit of artistic collaboration and dialogue by providing its artists with discussion panels, topic-based dialogue sessions, master classes, and social events. Artists who submit in the Live Performance and/or Alternative Spaces Live Performance category, may receive a travel stipend of $50-$300 depending on how far they must travel to attend. RAD Fest also organizes a Host an Artist program, which seeks to match potential hosts with artists to defray boarding costs.
There are four categories of submission: Live Performance, Alternative Spaces Live Performance, Youth Live Performance, and Screendance. All submissions are adjudicated for acceptance into RAD Fest. To submit work, please visit http://www.midwestradfest.org/call-entries-2018
