L.A. Dance Project at The Joyce

Company:
L.A. Dance Project
Benjamin Millepied, former principal dancer with New York City Ballet, founded L.A. Dance Project in 2012, aiming to encourage new collaborative work by emerging and established artists, while revisiting significant multidisciplinary dance collaborations from the past. For its Joyce debut, the company performs the U.S. premiere of Millepied’s Final Part of the Trilogy; Justin Peck’s Helix, a turbulent piece for six dancers set to music by Esa-Pekka Salonen; and three classic duets by Martha Graham. “A satisfying eyeful of contemporary choreography” (Huffington Post) combined with technical skill, L.A. Dance Project is sure to impress.
