LOS ANGELES, CA: Los Angeles Dance Festival 2019

The Los Angeles Dance Festival is a month long festival of contemporary dance in Los Angeles. The festival activates the landscape of LA with performances and classes over four weekends every spring. This festival captures the artistic creations of LA based choreographers using art to shape and define what it means inhabit LA.
There will be performances by the leading companies in LA, including choreographers that teach at major colleges of LA and work internationally. Some of these companies include Diavolo Architecture in Motion, Ate9, BODYTRAFFIC and many more. LADF is a great quick sampler of the hottest dance in the country all in one weekend festival. Each night features 6-8 companies each night, site-specific work, visual arts, dance photography, and a gala reception.
