LOS ANGELES, CA: The Assembly Dance performs at the 'Migrants' LA Album Release Show
Company:
The Assembly Dance
Join West Coast artists Joe Kye (Violinist-looper, PDX), Ching Ching Wong (Dancer, PDX), The Assembly Dance (Creative Producer, OC/LA), Darin Reyes (Projection artist, Sac), Byron Roman (Dancer, SF), and Tatiana Barber, Christopher Bordenave, Lindsey Matheis, and Charbel Rohayem (Dancers, LA) in a single convergent evening of live music and movement.
The performance/party will celebrate the release of Kye's brand-new album, 'Migrants,' and will kick off Kye and Wong's international tour to Nepal, Japan, China, Israel, South Korea, San Francisco, and NYC, as it continually refers back to the diverse paths and ancestries that describe all of humanity. Guests will ascend to the top floor of NAVEL, a hidden contemporary loft in DTLA where they'll enjoy complimentary small plates from Kobunga BBQ; beer and wine for purchase; and an intimate music and dance performance that will also involve them in the creation of a communal art piece.
