LimónLaunch & LimónPro are meant for a dancer to deepen and enrich their creative practice and be ready to work with any 21st century choreographer.
Training to diversify and make the dancer more marketable will include Improvisation, Ballet, Musicality, Limón Principles, Access to the Archives, Dance Reels, Resumes, Audition Readiness, premiering a new creation, and the opportunity to learn a Contemporary work from the Limón Dance Company Repertoire.
Dancers will find community via their cohort, the Limón Dance Company and Artistic Director, Dante Puleio, L2, and with Limón master teachers and reconstructors.
Emphasis is placed upon the dancer's personal creative voice, with one-on-one mentoring with the Program Director.
Dancers will have access to private, behind the scenes experiences that bridge the Limón / Contemporary worlds and will learn classic & contemporary languages through a rich and focused unparalleled experience.
Studio-time is generally 4 hours per weekday, within the 9am - 3pm window. Special sessions are occasionally scheduled after regular hours, and include Limón + A Movie screenings and a performance outing. Studio locations are selected based on optimal interaction with the Company & other important legacy figures and include studios in Harlem, Queens and lower Manhattan. Housing is not provided to trainees however suggestions to begin research is shared.

Tuition: USD $9000 (written), $9600 (embodied) + Registration & Processing Fees
To obtain the Limón Institute Certificate of Completion recognized by the National Association of Schools of Dance, trainees must complete either an embodied or written research project. Written and embodied projects allow for deep discovery and connection, creating theses based on personal inquiry & curiosity.
Embodied projects invite trainees to dive deeper into solo material and allow for 4 private coaching sessions and studio space rental.
