Lindsey Hanson will present her Lindsey Hanson Collective in the New York premiere of Gethsemane, a site-specific dance work designed for Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
THREE PERFORMANCES: September 5: 2 PM, 4 PM, and 7 PM
The choreography unfolds throughout the sanctuary, weaving in and among the pews and balcony while the audience is seated on the stage.
Featuring an original musical score by Rev. Jonathan Gabhart, the work is performed by an ensemble of 22 dancers, whose credits include performing with Twyla Tharp Dance, Mark Morris Dance Group, Graham2, and more.
Admission is free, but space is limited and reservations are required.
