2ndLine, is working with Z Space and Joe Goode Performance Group—two organizations at the vanguard of San Francisco performing arts—to broadcast this Sunday's matinee performance of HUSH, live online.
HUSH is a world premiere dance-theater piece. A Z Space and Joe Goode Performance Group collaboration with sound effects artist Sudhu Tewari and musician/composer Ben Juodvalkis, Hush combines personal stories, dance, visuals, and innovative ambient sound techniques drawn from Foley filmmaking to explore the various ways in which we are hushed by society. Technologically produced sound contrasted against organic movement and spoken/sung word will dramatize the interlocking stories of six characters as they are alternately hushed or become “hushers” themselves.
On Sunday, September 29, at 3:00pm PDT, 2ndLine will broadcast a live performance of HUSH online at http://2ndline.tv/hush. Tickets are available on a pay-what-you-wish basis, with a portion of proceeds benefitting Z Space and Joe Goode Performance Group.
