Liz Santoro - Relative Collider

Company:
The Chocolate Factory
NOW PLAYING: Liz Santoro - Relative Collider May 14-17, 2014 Wednesday thru Saturday at 8pm.
Co-commissioned and co-presented with Abrons Arts Center.
We want to know why, we want to know how, and we want to show you what we know. Relative Collider works on the physics of attention, the collision of watching. We imitate each other to imitate ourselves, to show what has not been shown. We trust you while trusting that we do not know. When do we start and when do we finish? We are aware of each other, it is all we can do.
This work is made possible with commissioning support from The Jerome Foundation. Relative Collider is a production of Le principe d'incertitude and co-commissioned by The Chocolate Factory Theater, Abrons Art Center, Théâtre de Vanves, and L'Atelier de Paris-Carolyn Carlson, with the support of FUSED, DRAC Ile-de-France, The Jerome Foundation, Centre national de la danse Pantin, Point Ephémère, and Impulstanz Festival.
Performed by Pierre Godard, Cynthia Koppe, Liz Santoro, and Stephen Thompson. Conception: Liz Santoro and Pierre Godard. Choreography: Liz Santoro. Text: Pierre Godard. Costumes: Reid Bartelme. Sound: Brendan Dougherty. Lighting: Madeline Best.
