In celebration of the National YoungArts Foundation’s (YoungArts) second annual YoungArts Awareness Day on September 24, Los Angeles will join the #becauseofyoungarts nationwide advocacy campaign, encouraging emerging artists to pursue their dreams of becoming professional artists, with a free public event featuring YoungArts alumni. The Voice Season 8 Top 5 contestant India Carney, singer/songwriter Fiona Grey Schenkelberg, and choreographers/dancers Nicole Ishimaru, Jay Jackson and Michelle May will star in a disco/pop concert directed by R&B singer/songwriter Black Gatsby (D’Angelo Lacy) at Madame Siam, highlighting the invaluable opportunities that YoungArts provides to its talented alumni.
Doors open at 8:00 PM; Performance begins at 9:00 PM
