Lyrical Dances for a Lost Generation

Company:
Curator: Raja Feather Kelly
LYRICAL DANCES FOR A LOST GENERATION is a roulette of genuine dance numbers to popular music. Curated by director, dancer, choreographer and Warhol-fanatic Raja Feather Kelly, 13 choreographers hit the stage with no concept, no media, and no lengthy psycho-babble bullshit. Lights go up, Music goes on, and they dance. They dance their hearts out- embracing what they call the ‘J.O.D’ (Joy of Dance). It’s a show that promises to promise hope for dance and dance lovers. LYRICAL DANCES FOR A LOST GENERATION is the 2-sided mix-tape in response to the most frequently thought of question for choreographers in the age of Obama: Yeah, but can they dance? YES WE CAN!
