Manhattan Youth Ballet and Manhattan Movement & Arts Center present Annual Spring Workshop Performances on Friday, March 15 at 7pm; Saturday, March 16 at 3pm & 7pm; and Sunday, March 17 at 3pm, at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, 248 West 60th Street, NYC (between Amsterdam and West End Avenues) in the Lincoln Center area. Advance tickets are 5 for adults and 5 for students. Tickets can be purchased online at www.manhattanyouthballet.org. Tickets are 0 for adults and 0 for students at the door.
The Annual Spring Workshop Performances are the culmination of a rehearsal process that begins with the Winter Workshop Intensive in January each year. Students will perform selections from classical masterpieces as well as new works specifically choreographed for Manhattan Youth Ballet. Repertoire includes excerpts from George Balanchine's Emeralds and The Sleeping Beauty, August Bournonville's Napoli, a world premiere by Attila Csiki, and Deborah Wingert's Neopolitan Divertissement.
