Carolyn Dorfman Dance returns to the Bickford Theatre for another bold, athletic and visually stunning performance. Immerse yourself in the “worlds” that Dorfman creates. From her newest full company work, Traces, with its score by Svjetlana Bukvich to Echad (One), her signature work featuring eight dancers and a 120lb, 8ft diameter aluminum wheel, Dorfman takes audiences on amazing journeys (hailed as “ingenious… a gracious, formal structure … a fascinating metaphor,” Star Ledger). The program also includes a perennial favorite, guest choreographer Doug Elkins’ eclectic and witty Narcoleptic Lovers.
