Next week Mark DeGarmo Dance (MDD) will welcome their first roster of students to the Move UP! Dance Academy Summer Program. There has been an enthusiastic response from parents at local elementary schools where MDD dance classes are a popular and effective part of the curriculum. Over 20 students are enrolled to attend morning and afternoon sessions for two weeks, from July 6 - 17. In keeping with MDD's proven approach, the classes will promote creative expression in a variety of dance styles, taught by experienced teaching artists. The summer program is offered free of charge to students in Grades K - 5 at PS 15, 140, 142 and 188 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
