Mark DeGarmo Salon Performance will show works-in-progress by choreographers Callie Hatchett and Can Wang.
Ms. Hatchett, who holds degrees fromthe U of Alabama, NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and Touro College, is a teaching artist for New York City Ballet and Mark DeGarmo Dance. Can Wang started her ballet training at the Beijing Dance Academy and has performed with the National Ballet of China. She is now a fourth-year dancer at Juilliard. The Salon series is performed in an intimate space at the Clemente Center and engages audience members in the creation of new works. The program will also include a work by DeGarmo.
