Marquee TV is excited to announce its debut of “Sadeh21,” performed by Batsheva - The Young Ensemble on Friday, April 24 at 7pm in partnership with The Joyce Theatre. For 24 hours, performing arts enthusiasts can view the production for free via Joycestream. The work will then be available for streaming exclusively on Marquee TV, which serves as an on-demand streaming platform dedicated to global arts and culture.

Artistic Director Ohad Naharin’s “Sadeh21” is danced by the Young Ensemble. It promises to be an ‘‘epic-dance expedition’’ and a “choreographic odyssey.” Watching these dancers is simultaneously mesmerizing and puzzling as they seamlessly move from balletic poses to animalistic ones - each contortion melting impeccably into the next. For creator Ohad Naharin, famous for his “Gaga” technique, this is movement at its most raw. Stripped of all tricks and theatrical devices, this piece underscores the extraordinary emotional powers of dance.
