Martita Goshen's Earthworks Presents "The Way of The Whale" on World Environment Day

Martita Goshen's Earthworks presents "The Way of The Whale", Ancient Echoes Beneath the Surface. Performed on June 5, which is World Environment Day, choreographer/conservationist Goshen presents this tribute to the great whales and prayer for their survival. An ensemble of nine dancers will perform to an original score by David Darling and to "Songs of the Humpback Whales," created by Dr. Roger Payne, renowned marine biologist who discovered that humpback whales sing. An additional event will be a workshop on Saturday June 6, 10 AM to 12 Noon, at the Church. Open to all, from 5 years of age up, the workshop will be an immersive experience exploring the whales' unique movement patterns, vocalizations, and behaviors that lead to their harmonious lives. Attire is loose clothes and socks.
