In a New York Times profile of Mr. Trusnovec, world-renowned choreographer Paul Taylor said, “He’s remarkable. He’s naturally a very fluid dancer. The movement just looks like butter when it comes out. It’s hard to even tell where the energy is coming from, because it’s all so smooth.” Mr. Trusnovec has been dancing with New York-based Paul Taylor Dance Company since 1998, and is now its most senior troupe member.
The Laguna Dance Festival Master Class Series will continue in spring 2013, with the third set of classes in the series in September. Each year, Laguna Dance Festival presents a weekend of world-class dance in September at the intimate, 420-seat Laguna Playhouse. Now entering its ninth season, the Festival, formerly known as CaDance, is regarded as one of Orange County’s major annual cultural events and continues to be an important showcase for new and established dance companies and artists.
