The Playground NYC, in partnership with Gibney, is offering Online Studio, digital dance space. Join us, wherever you are for LIVE online classes with teaching artists in New York City and around the world. Let’s keep moving together and finding new ways to connect. Classes are open to movers of all levels!
Classes will be streamed live via ZOOM. Participants must pre-register for class and create a (free) ZOOM account to join. Registration will close 20 minutes before the class time. Fifteen minutes before class, you will receive an email with the ZOOM link.

Class description:
This class is a guided improvisation based on a constant deep muscular exploration, an expansion from the core, theatricality, and isolations, finished with a phrase that inhabits this research.
Bio:
Micaela Taylor is a professional dancer/choreographer/ Artistic Director of The TL Collective. She is the recipient of the Inaugural Springboard EMERGE Choreographic Award and recently named one of Dance Magazine's "25 to Watch,” 2018. Her work is trailblazing in the city of Los Angeles and beyond.
Alongside the launch of The TL Collective, Taylor has been commissioned to choreograph and teach by BODYTRAFFIC, Springboard Danse Montreal, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, B12 Festival Berlin, Carlos Acosta’s Acosta Danza, and more. Her work has been presented at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Soring to Dance Festival, Ford Amphitheatre and more.
