Enjoy the well being, community and expressive nature of dance. Experience moving in strong and creative ways. Full body warm-up from jazz and modern dance forms; multidirectional movements benefiting joint mobility; mentally stimulating requiring focus on co-ordination and learning of basic movement patterns; body-mind connection through structured movement improvisation and collaborative partnership; an excellent cardiovascular workout and dynamic stretch. A variety of popular to world music accompanies class. Appropriate for adults of all ages and abilities. Sneakers, flexible shoes, dance shoes or barefoot. This class is held at the PS21 Dance Studio.
