Ms. J's Gymnastics Expands in New Location to Meet Growing Community Needs
Starting June 29th, 2015 Ms. J's Gymnastics will relocate to 5,000 square feet of specially designed space at 43 South 1st Street t in Brooklyn. The new space will be double the current space Ms J's Gymnastics has occupied at 289 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg over the last ten years.
According to Gerard Irving who owns Ms. J's Gymnastics with his wife Wei Jiang, "The community's growth has exploded with an influx of children who are interested in and enjoy the gymnastic programs we offer." Mr Irving who was born in Williamsburg and continues to live in the neighborhood with his wife and two children, has seen this growth first hand and has made a commitment to grow with the community meeting the needs of the neighborhood youth.
Under the direction of Wei Jiang, a former Olympic Gymnast from China, Ms. J's Gymnastics offers a range of gymnastic and tumbling activities for children of all ages and levels of experience and skill. Ms Jiang plans to expand the current offering in the new location saying, "The larger space will allow us to expand the number of children who can participate and the type of training and development work we provide".
Over the last ten years Brooklyn children have participated in programs at Ms. J's including Recreational Classes, Team training, Camps, Family Fun, Pick up and Play, monthly Kid Nights Out and Birthday parties, for ages 18 months to 12 years old.
Ms. J's Gymnastics would like to give special thanks to Vice Media and Web Holdings for their consideration.
