Be Part of the Movement: Celebrate Carolyn Dorfman Dance and 35 years of bold, powerful, and thrilling performances, dance-making and dance education!

The family matinee features “Snap Crackle Pop”, a ground-breaking, new collaboration between Dorfman and Renée Jaworski, Co-Artistic Director of the internationally renowned Pilobolus.

With its rich repertory history, the company revives Dorfman’s powerful "Lifeline" (1987). “LIFELINE holds a charged focus for its eight dancers and its audience…this dance pulls at the emotions long after its images have faded” (The Village Voice). “The tension from the ropes and the interconnectedness of the dancers make a strong and exciting statement about the bonds that join individuals across generations. (The New York Times)

"Cercle d’Amour" (2010) jubilantly completes the program. “…compelling symbolism…Much more than a toy that inspires scampering fun…the hula hoops become mesmerizing objects as they spin in circles filled with kinetic energy”…Clearly she loves props, but [Dorfman] shows us that she loves patterns, space and volumes best of all”. (Star Ledger)

Tickets are on sale through NJPAC. $35/$25 General Admission
