Audition for Company Dancers: Sunday, September 9th, DANY Studios, NYC
Nimbus Dance Works seeks male and female dancers for the company’s 2012-13 Season. Dancers should have professional experience and excellent modern and ballet technique. Nimbus' repertory includes work by Artistic Director Samuel Pott as well as works by guest choreographers including Pedro Ruiz, Xiao-xiong Zhang, Randy James, and Korhan Basaran. The company performs bi-annual home seasons in Jersey City, regularly in New York City and on tour. The company also does extensive community and educational work weaving together high level concert dance and community involvement.
Nimbus's 2012-13 Season includes approximately 16 weeks of work including a collaboration with visiting artists from Taiwan, Vermont residency, NYC season at The Ailey Citigroup Theater, performances at NJPAC, Centenary College, The Theater at Raritan Valley, Rutgers University, APAP, Jersey City Nutcracker and Jersey City Spring Season. All rehearsals and performances are paid at competitive rates. Rehearsals take place in New York City and Jersey City.
In addition to company performance engagements, the company has multiple teaching opportunities available to dancers.
Audition takes place at DANY Studios, 305 W. 38th Street, NYC

12 - 4 Audition (12-1:15 - Contemporary Class; 1:30-4 - repertory)
