A French native of Dutch descent, award-winning choreographer Nelly van Bommel incorporates multiple dance languages into her choreography. Her new work progress Joe blends theatricality, humor, and raw athleticism in an exploration of community rituals and practices.
Joe was developed, in part, thanks to a Eugene Grant Research Award.
