New Dance Company Hi Artist Continues Partnership with

New York, NY, April 11, 2019 – New York City’s newest contemporary dance event company, Hi Artist, today announced their second event in partnership with Airbnb Experiences. After a sold-out first event, the series will continue at the beloved Brooklyn watering hole 61 Local. It is the first dance performance of its kind to be introduced to the Airbnb Experiences platform in New York City.
Hailed by Gothamist as one of “The Best Things To Do In NYC,” Hi Artist experiences are social and highly intimate in nature. The show is split into four short acts, all featuring different performers. Events end with the dancers joining the audience for drinks, conversation and general revelry, giving guests the unique opportunity to meet and mingle with the artists after the show. They also feature an emcee, who provides additional context about the artists and tells untold stories behind the dance pieces being shown. With a five-star rating on Airbnb, fans rave about Hi Artist’s intimate front- row dance experience. The May 2 event will feature work by artists including Holly Ledbetter, Ashley Menestrina & Dale Ratcliff, Robyn Ayers, and Nico Brown.

Formerly a carriage house, 61 Local serves food, drinks, and warmth from its spacious location in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn.
