New Moves:  Limón in the 21st Century

Choreographers Kathryn Alter, Jennifer Chin, Daniel Fetecua and Maxine Steinman share an afternoon performance of contemporary works, each with an affiliation with the Limón Dance Company and/or the Limón/Humphrey style.  Special guests Ryoko Kudo and Mark Willis will dance in Limón excerpts and musician Pablo Mayor will be playing live composed music for one of the works.

This Studio Showing is on March 1, 2020, 2pm at the Martha Graham Studio, 55 Bethune Street, 11th Floor, NYC

Dancing in the program are Kathryn Alter, Jose Baez, Jennifer Chin, Daniel Fetecua, Columbine Macher, Maxine Steinman, Tashae Udo

Post-show "danceaturg" talkback with the choreographers conducted by Neil Baldwin, PhD., Professor, Department of Theatre & Dance at Montclair State University, Director of The Creative Research Center, and author of the forthcoming biography, Martha Graham: When Dance Became Modern (Alfred A. Knopf).
