OnSite NYC: Union Square

Starting this summer, The Equus Projects will begin an on-going horseless dance project called OnSite NYC ~ a series of choreographic installations for public spaces in New York City. Each OnSite NYC event is  built and performed in collaboration with one, or a team of, visual artists. The dancers maintain the necessity for Dancing in Real Time- just as they do when working with horses- by installing a visual artist as a choreographic anchor. 

OnSite NYC: Union Square 
This June, The Equus Projects will create a installation/performance which references the Union Square's Farmer's Market when the market is not in operation- Tuesday and Thursday, June 5th and 7th. Partnering with vendors who are present the day before, The Equus Projects will make a piece referencing the items on hand, flow patterns of the market attendees, and many more nuances which will ultimately become the piece. Performances are FREE and at lunch time. Feel free to stop by and watch creativity in action!
