Open Composition Class
Modern dancer Jessica Harris will be teaching an open two hour dance composition workshop for artists of all abilities. The class will explore the use of physical limitations as a spring board for choreography. The workshop will be held on Sunday November 4th from 3-5 pm at Keystone Dance Studios, located at 252 W 30th St # 4B. Price is only 0.Jessica Harris is a founding member of Shen Wei Dance Arts and danced with the company from 2000- 2009. In 2007, Ms. Harris joined Shen Wei in choreographing material for the Opening Ceremonies of the Bejiing Olympics. In 2011, Ms. Harris graduated from Pomona College with a Bachelor of the Arts in dance movement studies. She spent the following year at Pomona College teaching site-specific performance, improvisation and somatic techniques.
