On the 9th and 10th of November, Eiko Otake will perform in another tribute for C.D. Wright at Brown University. The event includes films, music, presentations, and an exhibition of “A Body in Fukushima.” For this special occasion, photos of C.D. and Eiko’s time together in Santiago, Chile will be on view.

The past few weeks, Eiko has been working and experimenting in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine as a part of her long-term residency there. As it had been conceived, Eiko and William Johnston’s exhibition is now expanding. Many days Eiko has been there dancing, and sometimes being photographed by William or being filmed by Alexis Moh. Inevitably, as she moves through the towering space, visitors (most often international tourists) gather around to watch and converse about what they are witnessing. Eiko will continue to work in the Cathedral for the remainder of this week, and again next Friday and Saturday (November 11th and 12th). Feel free to stop in to watch her and speak with her.
