Valentina Kozlova will hold a panel discussion, open to the public, on thoughts about the recent Kozlova International Ballet Competition (VKIBC), and the general state of dance in today's world. The panel will be followed by a Q&A, and questions and remarks from audience members are welcome. The panelists are Nicole Duffy, rehearsal director of Ballet Hispanico Pa'lante Jr. Ensemble; Steven Melendez, a.d. of New York Theater Ballet; Melanie Person, co-director of the Alvin Ailey School of Dance (all were members of the VKIBC jury), and choreographer, teacher, and director of SENSEDANCE Henning Rubsam.
