A collective of artists and entrepreneurs persevere through Covid-19 to shine light on Health, Wellness and The Arts with a virtual Home Grown Festival

Join the performance screenings and conversations, crafted in love, for all audiences to fellowship in a revolutionary space, saturated in thought-provoking conversation that will enhance our soul's compassion, visceral insight, and collective consciousness

Whole Heart Productions signature HOME GROWN events will premiere three original works, The Road to Ose Tura, fragile and Built to Last, including a dance workshop consisting of traditional West African and Afro-Caribbean dance styles and a symposium, Strength, Courage & Wisdom, taking place virtually from July 26 – August 12, 2020. The festival will kick off May 26th with the premiere of Road to Ose Tura followed by a Talk Back, featuring Artistic Director, Choreographer and Performer Efeya Sampson.

Home Grown is a celebration of the people and culture that define a city. Whole Heart Productions' signature Home Grown events celebrate artists that are contributing to the cultural heritage of their communities. Home Grown performances combine dance, music, talks and storytelling to not only transport the audience to new locations but to also celebrate the culture within their own cities. It started with a vision a calling to create a way to not only recognize the artistic contributions of a city's native population, but to also create a community of sharing and collaboration within the arts. With festival activities over three weeks, a group of artists will educate audiences, spark critical conversations, entertain and inspire collective action.
