RIOULT Dance NY & Manhattan School of Music present BACH DANCES
RIOULT Dance NY, a leading American modern dance company with a classic sensibility, along with the Manhattan School of Music (MSM) will present a one-night-only performance of its Bach Dances on October 9, 2013 at 7:30pm at the Manhattan School of music’s stunning John C. Borden Auditorium. The school is located on the northwest corner of Broadway at 122nd Street, NYC. The Bach Dances include
s three RIOULT Dance NY works set to the music of J.S. Bach - Views of the Fleeting World (2008) set to "The Art of Fugue," City (2010) set to "Sonata for Violin and Piano #6 in G major," and Celestial Tides (2011) set to "Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 in B-flat major." The critically-acclaimed program has toured throughout the United States and France with recorded music, however, the October 9, 2013 performance will mark the New York City premiere of Pascal Rioult's Bach Dances performed to live music in its entirety.
