RIVER TO RIVER FESTIVAL: Jillian Peña’s "Panopticon"

Company:
Jillian Peña
Jillian Peña’s Panopticon, a duet performed by Alexandra Albrecht and Rebecca Warner, comes to Federal Hall June 24–26. Taking inspiration from Michel Foucault’s Discipline and Punish, Panopticism, the dance dives further into Peña’s fascination with unison and mirroring, fusing existential murmurings with spiraling movement structures filtered through a balletic sensibility.
