Former Rockette MARY SIX RUPERT announces a very special event - the fifth annual LEGACY 36, a sparkling Celebration of the Rockettes, featuring THE LEGACY DANCERS, a line of former Rockettes, along with stars who have appeared at Radio City Music Hall: MAURICE HINES, SANDY DUNCAN, DON CORREIA, and ROSIE NOVELLINO-MEARNS.  Rupert, a former Rockette, is proud to present this celebration of the history of the Rockettes and the art of precision dance.  In addition to the guest speakers, audiences will be treated to specialty dances that range from a Can Can to tap dancing sailors. Saturday June 3 at 6 PM at the Miller Theatre, Broadway & 116th Street (at Columbia University).

Appearing with the line of former Rockettes are guests who have appeared at Radio City in past productions:

  • MAURICE HINES, who helped direct and choreograph, with Joe Layton, and performed in "The Radio City 60th Anniversary Tour";
  • SANDY DUNCAN and DON CORREIA, who starred in "5,6,7,8, Dance," a Rockette summer show;
  • ROSEMARY NOVELLINO-MEARNS, former dance captain and longtime member of the Music Hall Ballet Company, and author of "Saving Radio City Music Hall: A Dancer's True Story";
  • MARY SIX RUPERT, narrator, former Rockette and Producer/Director/Choreographer of the show).
