Recession Art, Queer NYC, and more

The Invisible Dog Art Center
Dear Friends,
Last week we were the best, but this week we are the "besta" (Icelandic), le "meilleur" (French), "el mejor" (Spanish). Have you seen the press we received from the NY Times for Sunday's Foreign Language Hopscotch organized by Walls & Bridges? - click here!
Sunday was a great day at the Invisible Dog, but it was also a very typical day. People of all ages and backgrounds gathered in our space to share knowledge and create community. We are so grateful for the wonderful recognition we have been getting, and we want to continue presenting more events that create opportunities for people to interact with culture in innovative ways.
Please support our Kickstarter - we're more than halfway there, so help us make it all the way to our goal! it's the last 15 days!
This weekend will give your more chances to engage with art and artists. Saturday is the opening of Recession Art's annual fall exhibition featuring new interpretations of pop art, curated by Recession Art founder Emma Katz and Anthony Tino. And Sunday Anne Mourier returns with a new subversive, educational domestic workshop - how to polish your silver!
Come for the art, stay for the people - join us this weekend at the Invisible Dog.
