This piece is about migration, immigration—the search for solid ground—exploring questions of stability on and off the most ancient vehicle of water transit—boats—and the diverse passengers that take them. In the isolated desert of the sea, we will explore free movement versus bound to express the con?icts of uncertainty, precariousness, solitude, resilience, sacri?ce and personal identity that one faces in transit.
