TRIBE presents SORE, a premiere of the new live performance work by Ashley Pierre-Louis in collaboration with Dominica Greene. The piece explores Black feminine erotic power, pleasure, love, and transformation through movement. Developed within Shamel Pitts’ Solace of RED performance art incubator, the duet asks how pleasure can become a site of unassailable power, collective healing, and embodied self-discovery. Blending dance, physical ritual, and intimate worldbuilding, SORE creates layered echoes of transformation rooted in authenticity, sensuality, and liberation. The work, performed by Pierre-Louis and Greene, features design by TRIBE collaborators: lighting by Sarai Frazier, projections by Lucca del Carlo, and sound collage by Tushrik Fredericks.
