San Francisco Ballet’s "Romeo & Juliet" Coming to Select Tri-State Theaters

First Screening in New Lincoln Center at the Movies: Great American Dance Series
Romeo & Juliet, Shakespeare’s classic tale of tragic romance as choreographed by Helgi Tomasson to music by Sergei Prokofiev, comes to life on the big screen Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 7 pm (local time), when the San Francisco Ballet’s dazzling performance is shown in approximately 600 movie theaters nationwide. This is the first program in a new series produced by Lincoln Center and presented in association with Fathom Events, Lincoln Center at the Movies: Great American Dance will bring spectacular dance performances by four of America’s leading dance companies to movie theaters throughout the U.S. in fall and winter of 2015.
Romeo & Juliet is scheduled to be screened in 21 Tri-state area theaters, including three in Manhattan: Empire 25 with IMAX, 234 West 42nd Street; Kips Bay 15 with IMAX, 570 2nd Avenue; and Union Square Stadium 14, 850 Broadway. A current list of the participating Tri-state area theaters, and additional New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut theaters, is included below.
