Schreier premieres performed by dancers from NYCB, ABT, DHT and more
Claudia Schreier & Company
Rising young choreographer Claudia Schreier will present a program of her works, including three World Premieres, featuring dancers from New York City Ballet (Daniel Applebaum, Lauren King, and Lydia Wellington), American Ballet Theatre (Stephanie Williams), Dance Theatre of Harlem (Da'von Doane, Francis Lewis, and Nayara Lopes), The Suzanne Farrell Ballet (Amber Neff and Elinor Hitt), Kaitlyn Gilliland (formerly NYCB), Drew Grant of Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada, and Craig Wasserman of Pennsylvania Ballet. The program will also be a remarkable musical event, with the 20-member choir Tapestry on stage performing the sacred choral music by Tomas Luis de Victoria and Sergei Rachmaninoff that accompany the new duet "Vigil," and a new commissioned score for "Almost Morning," by multi-Emmy Award winning composer Jeff Beal (House of Cards), performed live by string trio and piano.
