Harlem Stage presents the world premiere of Partido by tap dance and live music company Music From The Sole. On Fri. 11/12 & Sat. 11/13, choreographer Leonardo Sandoval and composer and multi-instrumentalist Gregory Richardson, along with a diverse group of tap dancers and a three-piece band, will explore the convergence of percussive dance and live music with contemporary African-American and Afro-Brazilian culture.

The Second Avenue Dance Company functions as a contemporary professional repertory dance company. Made up of students in their final year of training, it is designed to serve as the dancers' transition into the professional world of dance.

This concert presents original works by students, as well as faculty member Gus Solomons Jr.
Company choreographers include:
Claire Adams, Emily Keating, Igor Konyukhov, Michael Laskaris, Noibis Licea, Allie Pfeffer, Michelle Ramos, Rocio Sanchez Rodriguez, Phoebe Rose Sandford, Christen Weimer
