The performance will feature premieres of new work by choreographers Barbie Diewald, Emily Jeffries, and Jessie Cosentino. Founded in 2010, TDC's presence in NYC is characterized by the progression of choreographic individuality, realized by the support of a group. By creating a humble and respectful environment, our family of dancers is able to offer accessible, affordable performaces to the community. Through three diverse artistic processes, we challenge each other to explore, create, and evolve. This is our second full-length show together as a company, however, we have independently shown our work at Dance New Amsterdam, Williamsburg Arts Nexus (WAXworks), Green Space, Steps on Broadway, Triskelion Arts' Collaborations in Dance Festival, Amalgamate Dance Company's Artist Series, and Perceptions Contemporary Dance Festival. The work we are presenting in Second. was partially supported by a Dance Now/ NYC Silo Residency at Kirkland Farm.
